The editorialist is a journalist who produces the specific form of writing for publication known as a "column". Columns come out around newspapers, magazines and a Internet. A select few Internet columns come known as blogs or Weblogs.
What differentiates the column from either more forms of journalism is that it meets each of the resulting criteria:
It occurs as regular feature around the publication
It is personality-caused per author
It contains an opinion or even point of view
